Statement

His work is rooted in the quest of the body as a core pillar, searching the female corporality and arising from the perspective of the artist’s lens; it allows him to understand the aesthetic singularity that builds emotions, feelings, states of consciousness and psychological states in men, all converging in his artistic creation.

A woman’s naked body represents the material nature of the physical world that originates from pregnancy, giving way to its energetic state. The corporeal and physical birth hypothesis is portrayed as a body of light, and the artist’s greatest interest is the myth of the eternal return to that primitive light.

The body itself evolves into a language that, for the artist, constitutes a place, a territory where the essential elements of nature can be perceived; it contains the memory of time, space, life, and death.

This is how nudity becomes a pure manifestation of the human existence that, after being exposed by the artist, allows for an existential nakedness that is regarded as the acknowledgment of our own existence. Then, the body is not only a desired place, but a spiritual region where the artist’s creative spirit is founded.
